Blackjack
Get to 21 without going over, against the dealer. Face cards are worth 10 and the ace is worth 1 or 11, whichever suits. If you bust, you lose even if the dealer busts too.

The rules
How a hand goes
You bet, you are dealt two cards and the dealer two more — one face down. You ask for as many cards as you want as long as you do not go over 21. When everybody stands, the dealer turns theirs over and draws to 17 or more. Whoever is closest to 21 without going over wins.
Blackjack
An ace with a face card or a ten in the first two cards is blackjack and pays 3 to 2: you bet 10 and collect 15 plus your bet. If the dealer also has blackjack, it is a push and you get your bet back.
Doubling
With your first two cards you can double your bet in exchange for one more card only, and then you stand. It is the play that makes money in the long run when the dealer is weak.
Here the bank is the house
Unlike poker, what you win is not lost by another player: the house pays it. That is why there is a maximum bet and a cap on how much the house can pay out per day — and if it is reached, the table stops opening new hands. Nothing already won is ever taken away.
What this table does not have
You cannot split pairs and there is no insurance. The first can be added; the second is the casino's worst bet and exists to confuse.
