Quick Tap
Ten numbers appear at the top. Tap them on the grid in order — and after every tap the grid reshuffles. As fast as you can.

The rules
How you play
There are ten numbers at the top, in order, and below them a grid of nine squares holding the digits 1 to 9 in no particular order. Tap the first of the list on the grid, then the second, and so on to the tenth. The list repeats numbers: with nine digits and ten to find, one of them comes up twice.
The numbers move
The moment you tap, the grid reshuffles. Where the 7 was a second ago says nothing about where it is now, so you cannot plan the next move while making this one: you have to look again every time. That is the whole difficulty of the game.
The clock
It starts on your first tap, not when the table appears: reading the list beforehand is free and you can take as long as you like. It stops on the last number of the list.
Getting it wrong is expensive
Every tap on the wrong square adds twenty seconds. That is a lot on purpose: with a small penalty it would pay to tap wildly until you hit it, and the game is about exactly the opposite.
The scoreboard
The lowest time wins, penalties included. One table for everybody: it is always the same ten numbers, so the times compare with no asterisks. It is the same reason a race has a distance.
Played alone
This table has one chair. There is no entry fee, no chips are dealt and no points are scored: it is you against the clock and against the table.
